Our story
Dig Depot was built from the ground up by two Dallas families with two very different boys who happen to be best friends. Inspired by our sons who ask to play with sand in our homes every day, we decided to make something that was accessible year-round, rain or shine.

What is your playspace, and who is it for?
Our indoor sandbox play area invites children aged 7 and under to dive into imaginative, sensory-rich fun with shovels, trucks, and sensory play equipment—perfect for creative and developmental play.
What is the age policy? Can older kids join?
For general open play, only adults and children aged 7 and under are allowed in the main sandbox for safety purposes. Older siblings and friends are allowed in private party sandboxes, depending on your booking.
Is adult participation encouraged, and are there charges?
Yes! Adults are welcome to join in the fun! Two adults per family enter for free; additional adults are charged a small fee.
Are waivers and supervision required?
Absolutely! Every child must have a signed waiver completed by an accompanied adult before playing, and each adult must have a signed waiver. Please note: all children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
What are the sandbox rules?
For safety and hygiene, we ask families to follow a few rules: no shoes or socks in the sand, no food or drinks, no throwing sand or rough play, and toys must stay in the sandbox. Please wash hands after playing or eating.
How is the sandbox and the play area kept clean?
We take cleanliness seriously: our silica-free sand is aerated daily to stay fresh and treated with a non-toxic solution, and toys are disinfected regularly. Our advanced air filtration systems help keep the environment healthy and dust-free.
What's included in your birthday parties, and how are they structured?
Our standard party packages include admission for 18 children, a private party room, and hours of fun sand play with optional food, cake, and other add-ons.
How do your party deposit and cancellation policies work?
Cancel over 4 weeks before the event for a full refund and 2-4 weeks for a partial refund. Cancellations within 2 weeks are non-refundable to ensure our bookings are accessible to other families. Emergencies may be eligible for rescheduling at our discretion.
